4. Purpose and Legal Basis

4.1 Website analytics

Website usage data is processed for the purpose of improving the Website, understanding user behaviour, and ensuring technical reliability. The legal basis is the Provider's legitimate interest in operating and improving the service (Art. 31 nDSG).

4.2 Newsletter delivery

Subscriber data is processed for the purpose of delivering the Newsletter Service, managing the subscription, and processing payments. The legal basis is the performance of the subscription contract.

4.3 Contact enquiries

Contact data is processed for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. The legal basis is the Provider's legitimate interest or pre-contractual communication.

5. Data Processors

The Provider uses the following third-party service providers to operate the Website and Newsletter Service:

  • Supabase (database and backend infrastructure) — EU region
  • Lovable (website hosting and deployment)
  • Stripe (payment processing) — USA
  • Google Analytics (website analytics) — USA
  • Microsoft Clarity (user behaviour analytics and session recordings) — USA
  • Resend (email delivery for the Newsletter Service) — USA

These service providers process data on behalf of the Provider and are contractually bound to handle data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.

6. International Data Transfers

Some of the data processors listed above are located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside of Switzerland, the Provider ensures that adequate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses or reliance on the data processor's certification under recognised frameworks.

7. Cookies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics purposes. The following cookies may be set:

  • Google Analytics — _ga, _gid (usage measurement, anonymised)
  • Microsoft Clarity — _clck, _clsk, MUID (session recording, heatmaps)

No cookies are used for advertising or personalised marketing. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) are only set after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner.
